Meet Nichelle
I’m Nichelle Davis, proud to serve the Cobb County community as the School Board member for Post 6. With several years spent in local classrooms, I’ve seen firsthand the brilliance of our students and the dedication of our teachers. My background as an educator and my work in the education nonprofit sector guide how I bridge policy with the daily realities of our schools.
Today, I serve as Senior Manager of Strategic Operations at Achieve Atlanta, supporting students as they access, afford, and complete postsecondary credentials. My experience in the classroom, strategic operations, and community engagement shapes my collaborative, solutions‑oriented approach to decision‑making.
A University of Florida graduate with dual degrees in Sociology and Criminology and a Certificate in Education Finance from Georgetown University, I remain committed to transparency, accountability, and ensuring all Cobb County students have access to strong educational opportunities. Our schools are the heart of this community, and I’m honored to continue serving the families of Post 6.
