From Classroom to Strategy: A Passion for Progress
I’m Nichelle Davis, and I am honored to serve the Cobb County community as the School Board member for Post 6. My commitment to education began long before my time on the board, and it continues to guide my work each day. With several years spent in local classrooms, I have seen firsthand the brilliance of our students and the dedication of our teachers. My background as an educator gives me a unique perspective on the School Board, helping me bridge the gap between policy and the everyday realities of our schools.

I am currently seeking re‑election to continue my service, ensuring transparency, accountability, and a focus on high‑quality educational experiences for all students and families. Throughout my tenure, I have centered my efforts on supporting strong academic outcomes, expanding opportunities for all learners, and helping ensure that schools remain safe, supportive, and future‑ready.

My career has always been rooted in improving students' educational experiences. I began as a classroom educator before moving into the education nonprofit sector to support students and families more broadly. Today, I am dedicated to helping students access, afford, and complete postsecondary credentials as the Senior Manager of Strategic Operations at Achieve Atlanta. My experiences shape how I understand the supports families and educators need and how resources can be used effectively to strengthen student outcomes. I bring a collaborative, solutions‑oriented approach to every decision and remain committed to listening, learning, and working alongside families and staff to help every student thrive.

I am a proud graduate of the University of Florida, and later expanded my work in education through policy advocacy and earned a Certificate in Education Finance from Georgetown University. These experiences continue to guide my service to the students and families of Cobb County Post 6.

Above all, I care deeply about this community. Our schools are the heart of Cobb County, and I remain committed to the work of supporting the children and families we serve.
